Love! The thing that the world needs the most right now

I came up with this subject because yesterday my day was full of love
LOL
Last night me and flatmate watched an Indonesian movie
"Eiffel I'm in Love"
The story was nice...quite funny too...
and realistic :D
Like the time when the guy took the girl to a VERY fancy restaurant, I told my flatmate "gee~ I could never go to a place that grand...there are even 3 different kinds of knives there!"
and a few minutes later, the girl in the movie said "Let's get out of here. There are 9 kinds of eating tools here..."

:lol:

Anyway...the thing that made me went :? was how the girl (whose character was like only 15-16 years old) kept asking the guy to express his love. She wanted to hear the word 'love' came out of his mouth

Everytime she asked the guy to say that he loves her,
I couldn't help but commenting
"Love? what is Love? She is a 15 years old girl talking and demanding about love. I'm a 23 years old girl and I'm still not sure what is love. (Heck, I'm not even sure I've been in love)"

So yeah....what IS love? :D
Err...of cuz I'm not talking about family love, friendship love,
pet love (???) here  :lol:

Anyway, as a closure xD yesterday I saw this short poem on tv (in the commercial for Ch 5's drama 'Chase') (I modified it a bit, but the content is the same :))

Just one little thing that struck me 2 days ago...
Tuesday night I was talking with dear flatmate about the earthquake
when I realized how scared I was

With all the disasters and stuff...
and how many people said that it's a 'sign from above' of some kind
I was worried and felt helpless at the same time

I've never been a religious person
Sure I go to church every Sunday
and I join several church activities
but I still feel inadequate in terms of faith

Last month I started reading bible again
But that day a thought crossed my mind
"Is it too late? It shouldn't be...but ...could it be?"
I was scared that the time wouldn't be enough for me
to be a better person
the way He wants me to be

That night I opened up my bible
and a short reading caught my eye
I read it and the sentence that struck me most was
"the heaven is there for imperfect people" (not the exact words)

And I knew that I've found the answer
What I can do now is to go on trying
I will always be an imperfect person
but I'll keep faith and hope that the Lord will have mercy on me and that the heaven will still be there waiting for me

I think today has the potential of becoming my 90% slack day :P
Woke up 6am cuz of my sinus :evil:
and couldn't go back to sleep again no matter how hard I tried
At 7 I gave up and cooked an instant noodle and made tea
Ate the noodle while reading Archie comics :lol:

After that I felt really sleepy so I went back to bed
and purposely didn't set my alarm clock :twisted:
And so I woke up at 9am
debating whether to go to work today...
Well, the good side won 8)
And so here I am, in the lab
(reached here around 10.30am :lol:)

But I didn't do much so far....
I've just finished 80% of my japanese homework
(and feel guilty of refusing to help my friend while doing it

*promise to be a better girl :P*
and I don't think I'm gonna do much either later on today

Gonna have lunch with flatmate around 1
then I have to practice my kanji *sigh*
then maybe I will start my informal report

Yesterday my supervisor asked me to write up a kind of report
regarding my 2 codes that I've submitted to him
I happily obliged LOL it's the break I need from doing all those coding wahaha
So yeah, I think I might start thinking of what to write today

Then later around 4....I'm outta here! xD
Gonna go to Woodlands....check out some clothes
I'm badly in need to revamp my wardrobe :(

Yesterday morning my friend sms-ed me on Indonesia's earthquake
Can't describe how I felt....
I think now it's beyond shocked or sad anymore...
more like...er...the leave-it-to-God feeling *sigh*

I'm just sad that it's the second time Indonesia got hit
and it's scary too...

The December's tsunami was 1 day after Christmas
now the earthquake was 1 day after Easter (it happened 11.35pm Indonesia time)

Lots of my friends were like "gosh.....what sign is this?"

And I just talked to my friends with whom I went to Malaysia
We found out that the earthquake was also felt in Kuala Lumpur (where we went), buildings shook and people ran out of the buildings
I told my friends we were lucky to go home 1 day earlier...
Or (as my friend put it) that the earthquake was 1 day late....
I can't imagine how it would be if we were still there,
most probably it wouldn't be so easy for us to come back to Singapore

As my friend told me, "Someone's still watching over you guys"

I'm back from KL :D
I reached home around 1.30 AM last night ...I mean this morning :roll:
Went inside, drop everything on the sofa, went to my room,
washed my face, and straightaway dropped dead on the bed :lol:

Woke up 9.40 this morning....aahhh~ so nice....
It's nice to be able to slack and feel no guilt :twisted:
No guilt? And why?
cuz I took a half day leave for today
and last week (thur), I finally finished my 1st version of program
*blows trumpet*
I thought that day would never come....seriously... :lol:

That's why when I went to the church for Holy Thursday I felt so happy and calm LOL
although we didn't get to go to the church for the Good Friday :(
cuz we reached KL around 4pm already (darn those traffic)
but of course we went to the Easter Vigil :D

Oh ya..I bought 1 nike shoes and 2 shirts from KL
the nike shoes cost me RM249 which is around SGD108
my friends said that its worth it (especially for a new arrival)
and so I bought it^^
it's purple colour and I LOVE IT nyahahha
(actually I'm wearing it right now together with one of the new shirts *laughs happily*)

And as for the shirts....*speechless*
well, those are just normal ones...with plain pink and plain purple color
I can't remember how many pink tops I have anymore! *cries*
I don't know why, but all the tops that I like are pink color! :evil:
When I was about to try out this pink sleeveless top, my friend shouted from the escalator "pink again???"  (_ _)"
and so of course I didn't buy it :roll: :lol:

anyway, I think I'm going to go shopping this weekend LOL
Still looking for a jeans and a nice top
Didn't manage to find it in KL
Oh yeah...gonna spend $$ too to preorder TOUCH limited edition :P

Oh and I didn't find any vcd in KL.....I found SMAP Live Amigos
but other than that...nil, nothing, none, zero, zilch
well actually I didn't see lots of vcd stores...only about 3 or 4? :lol:
cuz my friends were all focused on clothes, bags, shoes, sandals, all the gal stuff...
and once they're in a dept store, it could take them years to get out :lol:
I even went sleepy when I went shopping with them xD

I dreamt of tooth last night! :(
more specifically, I dreamt that I was going to lose one of my front teeth.
I read somewhere that dreaming of tooth is not a good sign
and to top it off, my horoscope reading today is b.a.d  :cry:

Anyway, I guess I'm a bit superstitious :P
but sometimes I just can't help to get distracted by bad predictions such as dreams or horoscope readings...
Although it's a bit..well....non-logical :P
cuz if (for example) the horoscope readings are true, then people all around the world are divided only into 12 signs and all of the same-signed people experience the same thing within a day?

But still, I like reading those kind of stuff...interesting :wink:
I've never tried Tarot though....I wonder if it's any good...
Some people said that it's quite accurate, but not the online one I think
I've tried the online Tarot once, and it didn't match (either that or I don't have a good enough insight to understand 'the meaning behind' xD)

Anyway, this morning I woke up late (it really is becoming a habit now :roll:) :lol:
and today I reached my lab very late LOL I think this is the latest ever *sigh* bad sign eh? lol
Today I'm a bit relaxed becuz yesterday I managed to do codings and now my program only left with one more point to do before I can try it out and hand it to my supervisor (he is such a patient man by the way :lol:)

Ah ya, yesterday I went to the new choir practice 8)
*sweat* it was quite tough!
By the end of the night, I think I lost half of my voice, for real :lol:
cuz I haven't sing (in my other choir) for weeks now
so yesterday I could really feel how rusty my voice was ^^"
but it's nice too, to have someone coaching you on how to sing properly and stuff....I'm gonna try really hard for this...
At the very least, I gotta be able to sing nicely (that is, loud enough-with proper dynamics and those kind of things lol, and hit the right key of cuz xD)

Tuesday.....3 more days to my trip to Malaysia!!! *woohoo*
I'll be leaving on Friday and coming back here on Sunday :D
I can't wait!! I hope I can really relax during the trip...cuz I really need it *sigh*

I've been really busy these past few weeks...
in a week, there were only like 1 or 2 days when I could go straight home after work
the rest of the days I'd always had something on
and somehow that 'something on' always made me come home really late
:( but I like being busy anyway, so that kind of busy week is becoming a regular week for me now :lol:
Anyway, I plan to sleep on the bus to Malaysia wee~
I just hope the bus is convenient enough for me to have a good sleep
wahaha~

This morning managed to find the problem in my program
and corrected it of course :D
then had lunch in Jurong Point with flatmate
then shopped for shampoo and stuff for the trip
and later I'm gonna go straight home after work and pack my things

yay~ :D :lol:

I wonder if there's any nice japanese vcd I can find in malaysia...
cuz I remember the last time I went to JB, I managed to buy momusu's vcd
I'm hoping I can find something like that again this time around
My friends are those clothes-shopper kind
(although can't say that I'm not :twisted:)
but I think I can squeeze some time to 'asses' the vcd stores there lol

Ah ya, we're also gonna go to the church there for Good Friday and Easters' masses :D

my melancholic side was taking over me that time :lol:

I listened to the cd in HMV
and I like it rightaway that I broke my oath of not buying any cd
not after I had bought a bag, a pair of shoes, and a t-shirt the day before :P
but well, I really like it *listening to it now*
and those things I bought, I love them too!
Aside from the bag, those stuff are what I've been looking for these past few weeks 8)

Flatmate, haven't told you about yesterday ... the bus I took almost crashed into taxi and that happened twice a day *in different buses I mean*. Luckily, the break worked fine. Come to think about it again, it's scary :(

and last night I dreamt of losing my slipper...

Well.....:D

I've finally moved from blogdrive to tBlog...somehow blogdrive doesn't work according to my needs anymore lol

And I finally had some intelligence to ask my flatmate to fill this blog together :lol:
it's a good thing too....cuz we're both lazy (in this kind of thing)
so we figured that when 2 lazy people fill a blog together, the blog wouldn't be too abandoned :D

Let's see.....I LOVE the current layout
I've been wanting to have this kind of layout since ages ago
but never had the time (and willingness) to make it :roll: :lol:
